Welcome

Our history spans from four generations of row crop farming, beginning in the Carolinas to the present horticultural expertise of 5th Generation Farms here in Homestead, Florida. In fact, the 6th generations to this long family line are currently in training and are the driving force behind what we are doing today. It all began back in the early 1800’s in rural North Carolina where Milton Helms and his young family laid their roots to farming cotton and wheat. History teaches us that these were early American “cash crops” back in the colonial period as the country was still under the rule of the British. Later in life Milton’s wife bore him his only son, Fred. As Fred grew, so did his aspirations to follow in his father’s foot step and soon he took over the operation.
